Hello, thank you for your interest in my work. My name is RG Lacandola and I currently work at Full Sail, Inc. making cool animations and designs while having fun. I graduated from Full Sail University in 2005 with an Associate in Digital Arts and Design.
My main areas of interest are in storytelling, graphic design, illustration, motion and animation.

My buddy Mat Giordano invited me to do an art collabo piece for a charity art auction to benefit the Children’s Orphanage in Houston Texas. You can check out other submissions here.
ROXY
Information
Roxy is the feminine side to the famous surf brand Quicksilver. I wanted to come up with an ad campaign that showed women expressing themselves in their own way. The combination of the Roxy name brand with the slogan “Express Yourself” fit perfectly. The end result was a strong brand with a message that says, “It’s okay to be you, and it’s okay to ‘Express Yourself.’"

Following in the same spirit as the Roxy campaign I wanted to show a softer side to the adrenalin filled Surf Company. This image proved to be exactly what I had in mind for the "passing of the torch" imagery.
VW Beetle
Information
"Beep Beep" was a fun concept that developed from daydreaming of being young and enjoying the antics of Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner. Around the same time a Volkswagen Beetle was parked in my apartment parking lot. The car's playful front seemed like it was making faces at me. So the more I thought about it I wondered how the concept of the VW Beetle replacing the Road Runner would look. Needless to say, I couldn’t help myself.
